To make a booking go to the tour page that You would like to book, select the dates of travel and then click on the "Book Now” button to be taken through the booking process. If You are booking more than 60 days prior to the start date of the tour You then pay a $AUD400 per person deposit that is non-refundable and the balance will be due 60 days prior to the departure date. If You are booking within 60 days prior to the start date of the tour then the full balance will be due at the time of booking.


The balance of money owed will be due 60 days prior to Your trip. If payment is not received You will forfeit Your deposit.

Your payment of the Non-Refundable Deposit is acceptance of these Booking Terms and Conditions.

Payment of the Non-Refundable Deposit and the balance of payment must be made in Australian Dollars only. All pricing on this Website is reflected in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless otherwise provided.  

Payment can be made via secure on-line payment through Stripe, PayPal or by direct deposit to our bank account.


If You wish to cancel your Guided Walk and You are unable to transfer to another Guided Walk as outlined in clause 16, We will charge You the following amounts per person from the date We receive Your written cancellation and provide details of where any refund (if any) is to be paid.

Less than 14 days 100% of trip price per person


We may cancel a Guided Walk for any reason and if so, We will attempt to advise You at least 30 days before Your intended departure date. In the event of an emergency (such as extreme weather conditions) We will contact You via email or SMS text message to advise of any changes.

If We have cancelled Your trip prior to its commencement for any reason whatsoever, We will offer You the choice of either:

  • Transferring Your booking to a different date or different trip; or
  • Accepting a full refund of any monies paid.


We provide to You various tourism services for Guided Walks including working with third party providers to secure accommodation, meals, transport and recreational activities.

Most Guided Walks will be of 2.5 to 5 hours duration.  

Once You have made final payment to Us, We will email You details of the tour.


We will assist You by securing accommodation appropriate for Your Guided Walk.  

The accommodation described on this Website is typical but not specific and may change from time to time.

The standard prices advertised on our Website are based on two people sharing a room. Single rooms may be available upon payment of an additional supplement fee of $300 for a three night tour and $200 for two night tour. You must pay this additional supplement fee if You wish to be allocated a single room. If You have paid the additional supplement fee but there is in fact no single room available, We will contact You to confirm if You wish to proceed.

We will pay a deposit to the third party provider of accommodation to secure Your booking and then the full amount once due. However, please see below for third party responsibilities.

We will Use reasonable endeavours to notify You if a third party provider of accommodation increases their charges or overbooks the accommodation materially changes Your proposed accommodation. If any of these changes result in Your holiday costing more than We previously indicated, You may cancel Your Guided Walk and We will refund You any monies paid excluding any fees a third party provider may charge.


We will provide You with meals during Your Guided Walk.  

Should You have any dietary requirements including allergies, You must notify Us at the time of paying the Non-Refundable Deposit. Any meals other than those provided during Your Guided Walk are not included unless expressly stated.


We will provide You with transport.  

Transport during Your Guided Walk is provided by Us or third parties and is included in Your payment.


We will provide You with a tour guide(s) with relevant tour guide experience including group safety skills and First Aid. The tour guide will also have a basic First Aid Kit and mobile phone with appropriate emergency cover or walkie talkies.

A tour guide is able to request that You not participate in specific walks to preserve the overall safety and / or interest of Your group.  

You agree to abide by the tour guide's directions.  


If time permits, recreational activities may be available. These include but are not limited to whale watching tours and visits to a winery or to a distillery. (If You do elect to do any recreational activities, We will be responsible for any third party charges associated with this activity.


It is Our responsibility to ensure that You are provided with sufficient accommodation, meals, transport and tour guide(s) for Your Guided Walk.  

We are not responsible for any information including in respect of the standard or description of accommodation or services provided by any third party providers.  

We are not responsible for any changes to walking tracks and or national parks which have been closed from time to time for various reasons including extreme Weather events which may result in You being unable to walk the designated path.  

We will contact You via email or SMS text message if there are any changes to Your departure or suggested route.  


You are responsible for reading these Booking Terms and Conditions and information on Our Website to ensure that You select a Guided Walk within Your fitness abilities and health limitations (if any). You must inform Us of any relevant medical conditions You have.  

Given the potential remoteness of Your location of the Guided Walk, You must bring with You any necessary medical assistance You may require given the likely undulating terrain, steep ascents and descents of terrain such as asthma medications etc.  

It is Your responsibility to ensure that You have adequate health insurance coverage.  

You are responsible for ensuring that You are fit enough to walk several days in a row for several hours per day.  

If You are over the age of 80 years, You will provide Us with a note from Your doctor confirming that You are fit enough to undertake the Guided Walk.  

It is Your responsibility to exercise due caution on the Guided Walk and stay on the marked trails or roads. You are responsible to follow the direction of the tour guide(s) on the Guided Walk.  

It is Your responsibility to advise Us if You change Your email address or contact telephone number after making a booking. You must also advise Us if You have not received a confirmation upon either payment of the Non-Refundable Deposit or final payment prior to the scheduled departure of Your Guided Walk.   You should check Your email prior to departure to check if the departure time has changed.

You must bring suitable clothing and footwear.  


We recommend that You have insurance cover prior to travel. As a minimum We recommend insurance cover against cancellation charges, loss of flight costs or loss of Non-Refundable Deposit.


To the extent permitted by law, You acknowledge that any services provided through a third party are not the responsibility of Us and You release Us from any claims which may otherwise arise.  


Guided Walks may require minimum numbers to operate which can vary from time to time and from Guided Walk. We may elect at our discretion to operate Guided Walks with small numbers and if numbers are particularly low, We may also elect to operate a trip with one guide only.  

We reserve the right to alter Your trip itinerary at any time to ensure satisfactory operation of the Guided Walk. This could include but is not limited to issues of extreme weather concern, walking track or nature park closes, extreme road conditions, change of third party suppliers and availability of transport that are necessary to operate the Guided Walk.  

We reserve the right to change any prices that may be published in any brochures provided to You or detailed on our Website but We will notify You of this change no more than 30 days in advance of Your trip (and provide You with the option of accepting this change or obtaining a refund). Prices may also increase due to peak demand periods and changes in fees charged by third party suppliers.  

You may change the Guided Walk You had elected (whether that be the start date or to transfer to another Guided Walk) provided that You advise Us in writing more than 60 days prior to the proposed departure date. If You choose a new Guided Walk within 12 months of the proposed departure date no further Non-Refundable Deposit will be required. Any Guided Walk that is after the 12 month period will require a new Non-Refundable Deposit. All monies held by Us will be applied to the new walk You elect. However, the new Guided Walk You elect must not be outside of 12 months from the date You advise Us of Your requested change of date. All changes are subject to availability and any restrictions of third party provider may provide.


Any refunds provided under these Booking Terms and Conditions will be made within 10 business days of Our receipt of Your cancellation.


We want to make your walking holiday enjoyable. If you have any difficulties during Your Guided Walk which you feel are our responsibility please tell your guide or contact the office immediately. If the matter cannot be resolved You can ask for assistance from the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs.


We may at any time vary these Booking Terms and Conditions and if so, the changes will come into effect once uploaded onto our Website.

You acknowledge that if You click on a third party's link from our Website, or an advertisement for a third party, You will enter that third party's Website over which We have no control or responsibility.  


You acknowledge that You are over the age of 18 years. You acknowledge that You have the authority to provide information for all parties to a booking and that information is correct.  

You warrant that You will inform Us of any changes to Your contact details.


To the full extent permitted by law, You release Us from any claim and You acknowledge that any claim You may have against a third party is not our responsibility.  


You accept that We may disclose some or all of Your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy on our Website. We will manage and Use personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principle 5 – Notification of Collection of Personal Information which is Annexure A to these Booking Terms and Conditions.  


These Booking Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the Non-Exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.  


"We" and "Us" means EW Davis Pty Ltd (ACN 065 296 933) trading as Walks with Nature.

"Non-Refundable Deposit" means the amount of $400.00 (GST inclusive) per person

"You" means the person who makes a booking through our Website.

"Third Party Provider" means a company or an individual who provides You with services outside of our services on terms and conditions agreed with You.

"Guided Walk" means a walk provided by Walks with Nature with a guide or guides.

"Website" means this Website.



We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

To provide our services we may collect and retain personal information including (but not limited to):

  • your name, current address and contact information;
  • sensitive information about your health;
  • billing, credit card information and other credit information including default information; and
  • if you apply for a position with us, your qualifications, employment history, bank account and superannuation account details and tax file number if you obtain employment with us.

We may collect personal information from other parties and publicly available sources such as the internet.

We collect your personal information to:       

  • provide tourism services to you;
  • manage and account for our services to you;
  • ensure we can provide our services to you in a safe manner;
  • provide you with information regarding services that may be of interest to you and to improve our services;
  • assist in arrangements and reservations with suppliers (such as accommodation providers and motor vehicle operators); and
  • enable you to seek employment with us.

If you do not give your personal information to us it will affect our ability to meet our obligations to you.

We may disclose your personal information:

  • to other service providers;
  • debt collectors;
  • to any person, body or agency where we are required or allowed by law;
  • to our external service providers and advisers on a confidential basis services in connection with the operation of our business (for example, data storage and archive service providers, IT service providers and banks);
  • to recruitment agencies for suitability assessment if you are seeking employment with us;
  • government authorities in the event of an emergency, accident or disaster; and
  • otherwise as permitted under the APPs or with your express or implied consent.

Our Privacy Policy can be accessed at and includes important information about:

  1. our contact details;
  2. how you may access your personal information held by us and how you can seek a correction of that information; and
  3. how you may complain about any failure of us to comply with the Act and the APPs, and how we will deal with such a complaint.
